Promising material
I liked it, and it made me go and buy all their solo albums (Toby's being the best). I bought this when I went to see dc Talk in concert, their last tour before splitting. Worth a listen, or just go buy the three solo albums they recorded.

GREAT DIFFERENT SIDES
THIS CD SHOWS THE PATHS OF THEIR EXCELLENT SOLO PATHS AND THEY HAVE ONE DC TALK TRACK A LIVE COVER OF U2'S SONG 40 HERE'S THE REVIEW

1 40(LIVE) A DC TALK TRACK TO GIVE THE FANS
2 ALIBI TAIT TRACK REALLY ROCKING
3 ALL YOU GOT TAIT TRACK GOOD SONG BUT LOSS OF WORDS SHOULD'VE BEEN ON HERE INSTEAD
4 BE KEVIN MAX TRACK SHOWING A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT SIDE OF HIM AND IS REALLY GOOD
5 RETURN OF THE SINGER KEVIN MAX TRACK REALLY GOOD SONG GOOD BEAT BUT NOT AS GOOD AS BE
6 SOMEBODY'S WATCHING TOBYMAC TRACK GOOD BUT DIFFERENT FROM THE REST OF MOMENTUM
7 EXTREME DAYS ROCKING TRACK REALLY GOOD GLAD IT WAS A SINGLE.

No real connection
I have to admit this band just dont cut it for me they sound as if they intromit too often and too much until whats left is the result here of a very boring band.

Good, but why?
Listening to this will definitely whet your appetite for their solos. Kmax, TobyMac and Tait all shine on this sampler, their first opportunity to let their unique talents show. But buying this CD is like downloading the demo of a game you're going to buy anyway. What's the point? Go out and buy their solos instead. You won't regret it (Toby's has 18 tracks and there isn't one I don't like!) But if for some reason you don't want to get all three, this is an okay substitute.

Oh No! The DC Talkers Are Going SOLO!
(9 of 10)

Tracks 2 &3, Alibi & All You Got, Come from Tait's album Empty. This album starts of with a very good version of 40 (live!). (8 of 10)

Tracks 4 & 5, Return of the Singer, Be, Come from Kmax's album Stereotype Be. (10 of 10)

Tracks 6 & 7, Somebody's Watching Me, Extreme Days, Come from Tmac's album Momentum. (9 of 10)

While there is only one "new" song on this album, it serves as a good last fairwell for hardcore dc fans. The rest kind of serve as a sampler for the group's first solo projects.
