A Great Album My CD player didn't play any other CD for months. I just simply can't say enough good about this album. That's how addictive this album can be.
After listening to this album, I was inspired to fly over 2,000 miles just to see the man in concert. I was not disappointed. Neither will you be. Buy this album. . . trust me.
Awesome Cd from Chris
It is similar to his earlier works. This guy is going back to his roots with this Cd. I have been dissapointed with his recent recordings but this one is a fresh reminder of his past works. Buy this if you are a fan of his earlier works that have songs of deep meaning and beauty. Go for it, its one of his best cd's.
You'll Want it!
" One understands and relates with "My Lover Is". This is Chris de Burgh doing what he always does! He takes words and music, puts them together in a way in which one feels as though they have experienced the "Love of a Heart Devine. Chris is a true romantic and yet, he has a wonderful sense of Humor with "I Want It (and I want it now). " 'Flying Colours', 'Into the Light', 'The Getaway', and 'Crusader' are similar rock/ballad albums in which Chris has returned to with 'Quiet Revolution. ' Give Chris de Burgh the recognition he deserves by setting "Lady in Red" aside and listen to the rest of his music. You won't be disappointed!!.
A more modern Mr. De Burgh
I personally prefer his more upbeat songs in the style of "Ship to Shore" and #1 and #6 are instant classics in my collection. The ones looking for those older ballad-style songs will be quite happy with this album. I liked "Woman's Heart" so much . . . .
A return to greatness
The love songs are amazing and the pop songs are great to listen to while driving. I have all of his albums and this marks a return to some of his best work. There is probably not a bad track here however it is lacking that special something that would make this album worth five stars. I can not wait for the next one.
