The way to success, is to stay true....
You know, the kind that were cool when their first CD came out. The deftones are one of those bands. Cooler when their second CD came out, and exploded with their third CD. However; Deftones have been able to do something that many bands can't do. They don't lose fans. The fans of the first CD are still with them. Althought their musical style varies, each CD is a genuine, straight-up Deftones CD. They have all the characteristics-something for everyone. On the newest CD, "White Pony", the Deftones have explored new areas without forgeting the roots, their beginnings. Some of the best songs released, unfortunately, are not on White Pony. This single has songs that display the transition and growth of one of the most powerful bands around.
