A Wonderful Production
This one now sits at or near the top of my list. I have a collection of John Denver CDs. It is just John and his guitars, no backup at all. It certainly brings back the memories of the concerts I attended in the 70's and 80's. Very highly recommended. Thanks to his family for making it available.


Simply Amazing
A wonderful recording. Great singing and songwriting paired with the most pristine sound you will ever hear.


A Great Once In A Lifetime Concert
John and his guitar. A very intimate concert. He doesn't talk a lot, probably due to the language barrier, but you can hear him put his heart and soul into all of the songs he sings to the Russian audience. Singing of peace and unity of the human race. Highly recommended.


Thanks Roger Nichols
The liner notes tell the amazing story of how he custom-built a workstation that didn't exist in 1984-- remote digital recording. Roger Nichols' ingenuity and perseverance paid off with this beauty. And now we have this gorgeous recording of arguably some of John's most excellent performances. No wonder the Russians signed the Cultural Agreement after hearing and meeting with John, the agreement that paved the way for Billy Joel. Lots of history in these tracks.

John and Roger made a great team.
