Kind of a boring universe.
The first CD I ever purchased was Music for the Masses in a long box. I am a huge Depeche Mode fan. They've had their good and bad albums. Stuff I've loved and stuff I've been pretty meh on. Their last album was so great. I went to about four concerts for Touring the Angel and I just thought. Man these guys still have it. I was really excited for Sounds of the Universe and I have to say it was a big let down. Luckily I bought the "Deluxe" edition, which oddly has a lot of the "out takes". In most cases I find the Out Takes on the DE disc to be better than the stuff on the actual CD. This CD is definitely mellow, but it's not the follow up to Playing the Angel I would have hoped for.

They enjoyed it very much. I bought this as a gift for my lovely two sisters. CD & DVD great combo - great value. .


Back to basics
This CD brought back a lot of the sound that drew me to the band 25 years ago! They still got a way of making you think and want to dance at the same tme! .


Wrong is so right.
. Although not every song on this album is up to the standards of their smash Violator, the track "Wrong" has all the haunting sounds and danceable beats that any Depeche Mode fan craves.

there last one was better, but i like that this on comes with a dvd showing the video and the group talking about the making of this cd. This cd was good.
