better than Enjoy my conclusion is that the SST albums are indeed better than the other ones. This album doesn't have any boring songs unlike Enjoy (the Days are blood was almost 8 minutes long and was boring as hell) This was the last album before the group reunited in the mid 90s. fin.
Once again! AWESOME!
I enjoy the listening of all the Descendents records and this one is another awesome CD from this wonderful band!.
Descendage
At first listen it has a lot of metallic riffs which are actually cool. This isnt the descendents best by a long shot get Milo goes to colege or I dont wanna grow up but this is still a damn good album. this was an experimental album songs like "schizophrenia" or "impressions" are very different than anything they had ever done before. Bu they still have some fantastic pop punk tunes like "clean sheats", "coolidge" and "pep talk". Just a very cool album that might not get you hooked on the first listen but repeated listening gets you hooked. If you want some regular descendents fair listen everything sucks or the above mentioned album if you want some different stuff get this it will blow your mind.
Great mixed some bad.
" All of those songs paint scenarios anybody can relate to, and do it in a way that's so incredibly melodic that it makes you feel ok to be a bit cheesy and sentimental. Of the Descendents releases, I feel this one shines the strongest with infectous poppy songs about girls like "Clean Sheets," "Coolidge," and "Pep Talk. On the inverse side of the coin, there is "Jealous Of the World," which spouts off sour grapes of a different variety.
Like most any full-length release, there are going to be songs that don't quite do the rest of the material justice. I can appreciate the intricacies of "Van," "Uranus," and "Iceman," though "All-o-Gisticts" epitomizes what the skip function on a disc player was made for.
For those looking for a extension of sorts to the "Milo Goes to College" release, expect a more musically intricate transition to what became ALL.
Terrible
IT IS TERRIBLE. If you like ALL, or Descendents, do not waste your time with this CD.
