Blah The album is filled with raw energy. This is definitely one of the best punk albums of all time. Great songs like parents and i'm not a loser. BUY this if you don't already have it. .
One of the greats.
Milo goes to college is a top 3 punk album of all time. In dark bars scattered across america in the dankest corners where old school punks gather and reminesce about the good old days of their genre this album will most definately come up. Right there with the NOFX's Black Flag's and Dead Kennedy's the descendents brought a sense of juvenile angst to the party. Milo auckerman's voice is perfect when this album was made and you truly feel his emotion in songs like "hope" and "jean is dead". IF you are a fan of punk rock/pop punk/or emo milo goes to college has something for even the most hardcore. If you do not own this piece of musical history then stop reading this now and hit the order button. It is worth every penny. RIP Frank Navetta( descendents original guitar player).
Punks not dead!
I love it!!! Punk is alive & well in my home and even my son & his friends like the old stuff. . the good stuff!.
Bad pressing
Has bad back ground noise on the whole first side. This album is pressed very badly. .
milo goes to college review
Great hooks, great songs, great lyrics, etc. Wow. . . . . . . . . . . . Think Green Day started "pop punk"? Think again. It all started with the Descendents and this album is their masterpiece. Named because Milo was actually about to head off to college, this album blasts through its 15 tracks with only 3 songs over two minutes long. This is how punk rock should be done. Fast and loud. All tracks are worthy of listening to over and over but the standout is "suburban home". I mean come on, "I don't want no hippie pad, I want a house just like Mom and Dad!" Brilliant. If your a true fan of punk, this needs to be in your collection. But this album now.
