Needed to listen a few times... It is now a staple in my car CD player. But it grew on me. Most of the mixes keep the flavor of the originals. Some of them sound totally different. Love it. .
Some Good Remixes
The DEVO one was my favorite and Echo and The Bunnymen was a good one also; in my opinion that is. Some of the songs I did not remember but some of the ones I did, were pretty good.
80's remixed versions
a CD with 14 songs and only 2 or 3 from TOP 10 weekly hits from 80's is not fare- that's why people doesn't buy cd's. Sometimes Adding techno beats or bass on a retro song kill the feeling of the originality of the hit.
I'am 80's fan and Dj collector, I did enjoy every single hit from that dacade in this CD the only songs to be rescue
Bizarre Love Triangle , Need You Tonight, Situation
They kill Little Respect in that remix.
If you love 80's hits buy it Used price recomended .
Future Retro is Amazing! Totally unexpected!
I am a DJ. I am truly amazed at how good Future Retro is! Great compilation. When I play Future Retro remixes, everytime the dance floor gets moving. Could "White line" be any better? Yes! Listen to Future Retro! Future Retro re-mix of "White Line" pushes this dance hit to the edge. No, I don't own stock in the company . . . .
At its best revisited
Some slight misses, but it excels by the very high standard of who remixed what. Hoping to see more releases of the particular Rhino category.
