The Most Powerful Vocalist In Metal History!
Ronnie James Dio is nothing less than awesome! When he sings, THE KING HAS SPOKEN!!! His voice is so powerful that it snatches you into the grip of his music. This album is truly great! "Anthology" provides a wide range of Dio to choose from--and none of it disappoints. The real gems on this album are "Last In Line," "Holy Diver" and "Rainbow In The Dark. " These three songs show Ronnie Dio at his best. This trio of songs deserves to be ranked as among the finest metal songs ever! Also, the contribution of guitarist Vivian Campbell can't be overlooked. His guitar work is magnificent! With the combination of a great vocalist like Ronnie James Dio and a great guitarist like Vivian Campbell how could anything but greatness be achieved. Buy this album today and add a piece of metal royalty to your collection.


Hmm..
If you really want to buy a collection of dio's music I think that you should buy at least two albums: "Diamonds" & "Dio's Inferno-The Last in Live", wich also icludes tracks from Ronnie's Sabbath and Rainbow eras. Well, a great album, tough "diamonds" is much better. (+ it's a live album!).


the king of metal
It's a great album because of all the songs on it, that has been taken from every album Dio has made, since he began solo career, and it captures me with the powerful lyrics and use of instruments, not to mension how cleaver and skilled he is at making a record. I think it's a great record, with many great magical songs, that decribes Dio's way of sending messages out about what goes on in our lives and how the world works. He is the king of heavy metal. Amen to that.


Where is Sacred Heart?
It starts of good with the best songs from Holy Diver and Last in Line. I don't understand. Then it skips Sacred Heart and then the best from Dream Evil. Oh, there is on song from Sacred Heart here, and is one of Dio's all time lows. Shoot Shoot, that song stinks. How can you pick that song from an album with such Dio classics as King of Rock and Roll, Sacred Heart, Rock and Roll Children and Hungry for Heaven? Get a hold of Dio Diamonds instead, it's a much better compilation. Or if you're really smart, buy the first four albums with Dio!.


Extremely Awesome
It Has all the good Dio Songs on it from Holy Diver to The Last In Line It RockZ. This Is a great import CD. If your looking for a good Dio Import CD this is the One.
