A Great Live Recording From Dire Straits
but no, Dire Straits are great with all good albums til Alchemy and BBC. I always thought this and On Every Street was all you need. This is a terrific live recording from the On Every Street
world tour 1991-92 has a great live version of Heavy Fuel, Money
for Nothing, and Calling Elvis. I highly recommend you get this
along with Metallica Black Album, Foreigner 4, Nirvana Nevermind, and GNR Greatest Hits. DIRE STRAITS ROCK. .
ps. this one is much better than Alchemy or BBC so get this
live recording today.

And this is one of my favorite albums, period. Dire Straits are one of my favorite bands of all time with lots
of talent. Some of the best songs on here are 'Calling Elvis', 'Heavy fuel', and 'Money for Nothing' and they are total rocking. Buy this album if you don't have it. ,

great live album from a great band
Calling Elvis has great guitar live and is better than
studio. This album's terrific but I still hear people complaining, can
they stop?????? This is live and I love the works of this album,
the best song is Heavy Fuel, they way they do it live really rocks hard AND IS THE BEST TO ONE OF THE GREATEST SONGS IN HISTORY. Get this with the 3 best DS ALBUMS. . . . . ,

Incredible live sound & voice
Hear it with phones to understand this. I'm not been there when this was done, but hearing i think is the best live concert till now. .


Great live album with great sound and song line up
A lot of people seem to tend to shy away from live shows for a variety of reasons including lack of ambience (listening to it is nothing like being there), the band doesn't sound that great live (see ambience comment), too much crowd noise, missing a favorite song etc. . This album, thankfully, fails in none of these categories.

While the ambience of a cd will never match that of actually being there for the show, the producer of this live effort took the time to carefully bring the crowd in but not too much to take away from the music giving you a small feeling of being there. The sound quality of the instruments and Mark Knopfler's voice is incredible. They can just flat out play and this cd shows it. Finally, the song line up is great and show cases much - if not all - of their best work. I can't say this cd has everything for everyone but the line up of songs shouldn't leave anyone disappointed.

Over all I highly this recommend this amazing cd and would also recommend the DVD version that goes along with it. .
