The Doors ROCK!! Jim sounds really good and the band is really tight. What a GREAT CD. A must have in your COL-LEC-TION if you're a Doors fan. Jim, Ray, Robby & John ROCK!.
Phenominal live recording
The sound and performance on these classic live recordings are GREAT. I'm happy I didn't listen to the dummies writing reviews these days. If you're a Doors fan or if you simply love 60's psychedelic music then get this now. You will not be disappointed. Damn, I almost missed out on some great music from when The Doors were tight and hungry.
not as bad as everone thinks
Not that bad really. . its a sample cd of the concert I understand that bright midnight is the full concert series but u get what you get if you dont like the cd then dont review it. . . . . i know its not as good as the other shows but take a listin pretend its not the matrix show imgine that its rather another show im sure few years to come they will get the rights to put out the full concert for if u want the ful show by the bootleg its a 4 cd set veary good if you can find it. . . . for the song list look them up on the intrenet.
A shame
I have bootleg cassettes that sound better than this. This is, bar none, the WORST sounding recording I've ever heard released on a major label. Warner and the Doors should be ashamed of themselves for duping the public this way. .
beautiful
This album took me back to that magic time. The Doors first album changed my life back in '67. Even my wife who is not a Doors fan upon hearing this album commented that she can see why this music is still relevant after 40 years. Those who trash this album are the same folks that trash a beautiful car because the numbers don't match. Just enjoy it.
