Vintage Eagles It's got the feel of country-western rock of the early 70's. If you like the original sound of the early Eagles, this one's for you. I remember buying the first two albums of the Eagles when they first broke out on the scene. I played them all the time. These are the best sound the Eagles ever put out. They have their early hits, but also the songs that never made hits are here that I feel are just as good if not even better since they weren't played to death on the radio. Songs like Doolin' Dalton/Desperado Reprise, Out of Control, Bittercreek, etc. If you want the outlaw music of early Eagles, this is a must buy. You'll love it.
Desperado is a 1973 classic
The Eagles had already released their great first effort the year before but this is when their songwriting reached real high altitudes. Desperado is one of those albums where everything sounds right. The album is full of gems such as Tequila Sunrise, Doolin-Dalton, Desperado, Outlaw Man to name but a few.
It's also masterfully produced by Glyn Johns and recorded in 1973 at Island Studios in London. The artwork depicting a scene back in the Old West is also worthy of a praise.
Let's put it this way: out of the six albums they released in the seventies, Desperado might only be compared to Hotel California in terms of perfection.
Eagles are still flyin high after all these years
. You can't go wrong with the Eagles as this album shows how they became one of the premier bands of all time.
Deperado
This product was shipped promptly, the price was good and I would recommend the seller to others. I really love this CD and the music of the Eagles.
The Best One!
starting with the melodic Doolin Daltons, this song basically say's, your not going to live long breaking the law. Basicaly a concept album about bank robbers, desperados and the wildness of youth, this album still stands tall today. i like every song on this album, especialy the one's you don't hear on the radio all the time. Like the hard rocker Out of Control. the beautiful Saturday night, and one of Bernie Leadon's best songs ever, Bitter Creek. each song on this album tells a story, and these are stories you can hear again and again. don't forget the songs you do hear on the radio, Desperado - Tequila sunrise, a great album for new fans and old fans alike! Highly recomended!.
