Customer Reviews Too "Still" for Me And technically, you won't find anything lacking in the sound department (a common trait for all Audioquest recordings). As records go, this one is a nice collection of catchy guitar based tunes. But still, I have found the record to be somewhat lacking in the emotions department; some roughness or edge is missing. This could be partly explained by the lack of vocals. But the bottom line is, that for a blues record, this record is short on the "blues" factor.
Quiet ,dimmed, and smoke filled Also recommend:"Blues Guitar Virtuoso Live In Europe".
Blues: A Respite from Gravel Voices. For those who shake but don't stir their drinks, try out a similar formula dished out on "Blues Union" with Joe Beard (vocals/guitar).
