Customer Reviews
None Better Than Ronnie Earl!
Even the slow burners "Blues For Bone" and "Sufferin'" are full of outstanding riffs played straight from the heart. There are few guitarists that play with the intensity of Ronnie Earl and that could not be more evident than on this release. Couple that with the addition of harp player Jerry Portnoy who served up a six year stint in the Muddy Water's band and the soulful vocals of Darrell Nulisch and you have all of the ingredients for a really good blues CD.

Soul Searching
This CD is one of the best releases that I have heard in a couple of years. Scortching, soulfull blues.

Mr. Earl's most soulful blacktop release.
the title track, ships passing through the night and blues for bone are highlights. soul searhing features THE best blues guitarist alive playing with a soul, intensity and taste that is unparalleled in the genre.
