Customer Reviews My Review I really enjoyed him back in the 50s but I won't be buying another Duane Eddy CD. I guess that my ears have changed over the years but this CD has more "twang" than I remember. G. Wolfe Tallahassee, Fl. pretty good for a remake Still, this is a good album, especially for your first by Mr. The cover photo gives away that this is a recent (2005) recording, not the originals. Twang. The compilation shows a wide variety of talent, yet all in the classic Duane Eddy style. Mr. Twang's guitar sound is original, unlike his other modern recordings. My only complaint is that the classic background ambience of saxophone, rebel yells, and rocking piano are a bit subdued on this album, probably due to it being cranked out for the British market.
