His songs reflect life in its ups and downs. Jonathan Edwards has always written REAL music. So glad I found this at your site. It takes me back to a place I had forgotten was so much fun.
Clean and Brilliant
He did, however, pick some of the greatest amongst the writers with whom he traveled, including former band mates from 'Sugar Creek' and fellow stylist Eric Lilljequist. I suppose this could be disappointing to Edwards 'purists' - he didn't write any of the songs on this here platter.
For whatever reason, the production of this collection is just the most beautiful, simple, clear, and (sometimes) haunting I've ever heard.
The playing is superb and the vocals, as always, just beautiful.
