"The Essential Electric Light Orchestra" recycled The only difference is this version-like other titles in the Playlist series-features enhanced material that includes liner notes, photos, credits and wallpaper. If you own "The Essential Electric Light Orchestra" released in 2003 then you already have this album. At any rate, you're getting a great overview of a band that mixed rock with classical to good results.
This collection spans 1972 through 1986. All but one of the tracks here made the Top Forty ("Roll Over Beethoven" reached #42). Of these, six of them made the Top Ten-their highest charting one being "Don't Bring Me Down" reaching #4.
If you like rock and classical music you'll probably like E. L. O.
TT 60:56.
