Customer Reviews Wicked Cool It's truly one of the greatest tracks ever. I love this song by Enigma. It became famous for being featured in the trailer for the first Matrix film but I was familiar with it long before that because it was also used in the trailer for The Long Kiss Goodnight. When I saw that trailer I was like 'wow, what is that music?'. I took me a few years but it was worth it. There are 4 mixes of The Eyes of Truth on this CD. I short radio edit. The full length version, a techno remix (which has some very cool parts but doesn't do the melody much justice) and a Dub version which is like a short version of the remix. I'm not really a huge fan of Enigma as I haven't heard much of their stuff (TNT For The Brain and I Love You, I'll Kill You are the only other ones I know). But if everything is like this then they must we worth checking out. A total neo-classic, no doubt. One of my favourite songs by Enigma If I remember correctly,it was just a modest hit. The Eyes Of Truth was on Enigma's The Cross Of Changes CD,which came out in 1993. But 6 years after it's release,it became a hit after part of the song was used in the trailer for The Matrix. Even though it became popular with the trailer for The Matrix,it's still a popular song thanks to The Cross Of Changes. This CD is VERY MUCH worth it ;-) The version on the album is not as good as the "Radio Edit" which is track one of this single. Like others, I was after this CD for the music from the movie "The Matrix" and oddly enough this music is not on the movie sound track.
