Best album I've ever heard!
I liked them and decided to buy the cd. I had heard some Evanescence songs on video hits before. Took me ages to find but when I finally found it apparently I had a huge grin on my face, I had high expectations for this cd and they were met. Amy Lee has an amazing voice and combined with musical talents of Ben Moody this was simply the best cd I've ever heard! and yes, I have heard many different cds, but none like this. It's easy to understand the lyrics and hear her voice, highly recommended! .


Very talented folks - but not my style
Really and truly - the woman has an awesome voice, great piano-playing, drums, guitars, etc. I think this band has lots of great, valid, musical/artistic talent. However, I absolutely HATE the juxtaposition of the blurred rock guitar, the piano, and the high tone vocals - - it just sounds like a bunch of random crap thrown together. Just for the record - I am under 50, have very varied musical tastes, love female lead vocals, love rock, have over a decade of piano training, voice training, am no where near tone deaf, am scared of only very real threats (predators, natural disastors) to me or my son, and am not lying. So you could say I am a "hater" of this band, but I am not any of the things the previous posters have mentioned.


more talent then they know what to do with
i had to write a review after seeing the 2 idiots at the bottom of this first page, basicly there's only 2 reasons you wouldn't like this band,
A)don't like bands with talent
B)don't like female singers in a rock band or any band

this album is incredible I can't wait till there new album , everything about the band is nothing like you've ever heard
Luguna Coil, or whatever the name is, don't even compare, to Evanescence, i listened to them , and they got nothing, not to mention Amy lee's voice is uncomparable to anyone on the planet !
she takes your breath away on just about every song,

so for all the clowns that don't like it, don't know what talent is in the first place. . get a life,lol stick with your simple music, that goes nowhere, after all 1 star reviewers ! there record sales speak for themselves over 6 Million. !!!

:Over the age of 50[as if their isn't anything they don't hate]

:Got scared listening to the album[these are the same people that faint when reading scary poems.

:you haven't actually heard the album,you just like to shoot your mouth off.

:scared of your own shadow.

:Or you are a liar.

If you haven't heard the album yet,if you don't fit anywhere in the catogories,or your looking for some dramatic,Beautiful,dark,and awsome music, look for FALLEN.

A GREAT album
People that like the band and buy the CD should only post. I am thouroughly shocked that people that hate the band can sway the rating. I think that this is a great album. It is equally as moving as there other Cd's.

Amy Lee has an absolutely beautiful voice.
1. ) Going Under- it mixes her awesome voice with powerful guitar and melodic drums. 9/10
2. )Bring Me To Life- although overplayed, still a moving song that sends chills up my spine! 8/10 (due to it being overplayed)
3. )Everybody's Fool- I find my self singing this all the time. Its very catchy. 9/10
4. )My Immortal- Just plain pretty, enough said. 9/10
5. )Haunted- this is a good song, not spectacular, but good none the less 7/10
6. )Tourniquet- fun to listen to as are all the songs 7/10
7. )Imaginary- ah, take it or leave it 7/10
8. )Taking over me- I personally love this song 9/10
9. )Hello- very dark, sad 6/10
10. )My Last Breath- this is a good mix of the melodic voice Amy has along with the power of the band behind her 9/10
11. )Whisper- Friggin' awesome. I am constantly singing this! lol
12. )Farther Away- Another great song 9/10

All in all, I can listen to every song. There is not one song I skip over. Each one is catchy and before you know it, you'll be singing them all (and trying your hardest to sing as lovely as Amy Lee can! LOL).
