Eve 6 makes good on their 'promise' and delivers a top notch follow-up to their much loved debut!
Since then I've listened to and owned all of Eve 6's albums, and it always turns out that `Horrorscope' spends the most time in my CD player. When Eve 6 dropped their debut album everyone I knew was obsessed with `Inside Out'. To me, this is the definitive Eve 6 album delivering hook laden tracks from open to close and keeping my head bobbing and my feet tapping constantly. My favorite track here is still the first single `Promise' which to me is one of the catchiest songs I've heard in recent years, but that's not to say that the rest of album pales in comparison. `Enemy' and `Amphetamines' are also standouts, and then of course there's the balladish type track known as `Here's to the Night' that really garnered them attention. Max Collins still makes good use of his lyrics, using phrases in multiple ways and singing them with enough flow to make every word appear effortless. Great album all the way around, sure to please any fan of Eve 6 and I'm quite certain it will become a favorite!.

Superb!
Definitely you should check this Album out. This band is one of my favorite bands, stumbled over it one day i was watching a film, the song Inside out played, and i managed to track it down, thats when i bought this album, and i love it, the catchy lyrics and sweet music make them great to listen too, always makes me feel good, favorites are "heres to the night" - and "inside out" - "rescue", and ofcourse the rest is just as good.

Probably known forever the CD with the song played at graduations
They definitely put themselves in this CD (not just what the label wanted them to do too!). This CD is great to listen to. Of course "Here's to the Night" is probably one of the most popular songs played with High School graduations. BUT don't let that distract you from the true beauty of this CD!.

Replayable
This would be one of them. There are very few albums that I can stand to listen to in their entirety.

Eve 6: Mega Teen Soft Rock Band
Eve 6 has had several of their songs play in feature teenage films and many young listeners will recognise the songs of 'Promise' and 'Here's To The Night'. This is my second Eve 6 album I have reviewed and listened too and it wasn't a bad album at all. And this isn't a bad thing cause the trio from the States are just passed their teenage years themselves. 'Horrorscope' was in my opinion set out to capture the 16-28 age demographic and the band did well. My friend went to one of their on-the-road concerts in the eastern states and said 95% of the crowd were within this age range.
The album has some other notable songs, for the rock sounds but not the lyrics in which the band lacked depth or experience. Song's like 'Rescue', 'Enemy' and 'Nightmare' had some good guitar and keyboard riffs. The vocals were done well and overall the album was a winner, the only think lacking was good lyrics to go with the songs. .
