I am absolutely amazed that someone (especially a guy) can have such a deep understanding of "what it's like" for a young girl, or any woman, to "have to choose. Everlast's "What It's Like" has moved me like no other. " Plus the compassion shown in the song for the homeless guy outside of the liquor store. . . and more, seeing the YouTube video, of how we all end up drowning at one time or another. . . and we all have crossed the line at one time or another.
Well, all I can say is "More power to you, brother. " This Everlast guy is one incredible poet and hip-hop dude. Never thought that was possible. I'd like to definitely hear more of what has been called this brand of "acoustic hip-hop. " Hope there's more like this from him out there.

What it's like is one of my favorite songs! It's truthful, and it's sad and I love it!.

I love this band! I've heard them many times and i'm going to buy the album as soon as I can.
