A Must Have For All Music Fans!!
If you liked Whitey Ford Sings The Blues, then you will definately like this album. This review was originally written in 2004:

If you are casual Everlast fan or a longtime fan, this album is a must-have. It is much improved from Eat At Whitey's. Being a fan of his music from the Rhyme Syndicate days, I have enough knowledge of his work to give an objective opinion. When "Whitey Ford" came out I was a little suprised, but pleasantly. I felt "Eat At Whitey's" was lacking, but I supported it. "White Trash Beautiful" is much better than I expected. The production (most of it is produced by Eric himself) and the songwriting are excellent. There are more rhyming tracks on this one than the last, which are blazing. The singing tracks are all solid, with some incredible stand-outs, which is saying alot coming from an avid hip-hop / intermediate rock fan. There are no intro's/outro's/skits/filler music/fast-forward material. It is all music, well worth the money. Definately one of the best albums (any category) to come out this year thus far. Pick it up!!

SACD Stereo Only
However, it is not multichannel SACD, but Stereo SACD. This is a fantastic set of music from Everlast. I am disappointed, and hope I keep someone else from the same.


Excellent!!
Not a bad cut on the entire album, and ain't that a rare and wonderful thing!! I love the way this artist blends various types of music(soul, blues, rap, rock, etc. A true work of art. ) into a unique mix. Destined to be a classic in my collection, at least, and my taste is typically hard core R&R. Not a rap fan, I bought this album because I liked the cover tune when I heard it on the radio. Now, I can't get enough of this music and have purchased more of Everlast. If you don't get the urge to move when you hear some of these songs, better have someone check your pulse, quick!!.


Beautiful Music
The lyrics and music is moving. This is a beautiful album. It takes a great artist to bear their soul and release personal lyrics.

Not to mention that it is really great to hear an album that is not disrespectful or downgrading to others. I believe this says a lot about the artist and the path they are on.

Simply a pleasure to listen to.

metallica masquerading as everlast
WTF. I would have liked to review the White Trash Beautiful release but I received a Metallica CD inside the White Trash Beautiful SACD case. And Amazon would not credit my account when I returned it. Probably because the case was opened. Duh.
