Head for the Door
After buying "Head for the Door", I found out that "Ugly" was just one of a dozen great hard rock songs. I had heard "Ugly" a few times on Music Choice's rock channel, and thought it was pretty good. Scott Stevens has an intense and raspy delivery that really suits these songs. "Head for the Door" is consistently harder and edgier than their previous effort, "Inertia". There's not a song on here that I skip, which is something for me, since I'm usually picky. My personal favorites are "Splinter", "Ugly", "What You Deserve", "Baptize Me", "My Opinion, "Dear Enemy", and "Tired of You". I realize that's over half the album, but that's how good the Exies are. I will say "Tired of You" sticks out a bit, as it's the only ballad-like song, but the strength of it makes up for the seeming-misplacement of it. The Exies are aiming for a follow-up album to hit shelves in September. Pick this up! .

Otherwise, every song sounds the same and it gets boring after a while. I would've given this album 1 star, but I'm giving it 2 stars only because the lyrics are cool.
And whose idea was it to print the lyrics in a wave pattern???.


best albulm ever
if its the same as this one the exies must be good. this is the only albulm i have of the exies
for christmas i am getting the last albulm.
this is the best albulm i have listened to.
my favourites are ugly, babtise me, splinter and dear enemy
my least favourites are none i like every song
its an amazing albulm. ihave listened to some of the tracks over and over again and everytime i think wow
this band should be more popular

Amazing...these guys should be huge
Although I dont think the album does them justice, they rock live, the album still kicks my a**. I saw the Exies open for the Crue in Toronto in August. Well worth a listen. If your here because you heard ugly, beleive me the rest of the album is just as good or better.


Loved this CD
It has more of a harder feel to it. I personally think this CD is better than the Exies last. Every song on this album is great. I definatly didnt waste my money buying this CD. .
