Huge disappointment
To me, the first four Fairport Convention albums are bursting at the seams with memorable songs; the songs on Full House are completely forgettable. Looks like I'm in the minority, but this is one of the most disappointing albums I've ever heard. Even the short songs drag, and the nine minutes of Sloth is excruciating. .

Fairport Rocks Again
Great stuff don't miss it. Fairport holes up at Angel Delight with a pared down line-up and delivers a masterpiece! Nicol, Pegg, Swarbrick, Mattacks and somr RT.

Fairport fan
He loves it!. I have this Fairport cd for myself, and this was a Christmas present for my 10 year old grandson who has become a Fairport fan.

Perhaps Their Best
This record followed "Liege and Leif" as well as the leaving by Sandy Denny of the band. One of Folk-Rock's finest jewels. Both factors contributed to low expectations at its release. Yet "Full House" was and is a major success. The vocals and song writing evince a keen, authentic sense of what Fairport Convention understood its qualities to be. Moreover, the playing of Swarbrick and Thompson--not only replete with virtuosity but also clearly a shared discourse--places this album among the greats of Rock and Roll.

It's a limetime top fiver, for me.

I can never really get enough of Fairport Convention
And still, I find that this CD has its own special sound that really reaches me. There's hardly a recording they've made that I don't have. Reminds me some of Outgrabe's early work. If you yearn to visit another place, come hither. You won't be disappointed. Play on, my loves.
