Avoid this unless you need every Faith No More singles On the sleeve it states that it's previously unreleased and was recorded live from Sydney, Australia 1997. I bought this for the Midnight Cowboy theme. Well on Angel Dust they did a real good jam version of the theme and it clocks in around 8 minutes or is it 6 minutes. Anyways it's a really nice extended version from the orgional movie version and is a good cover. Faith No More has tended to do good on their versions of covers. Anyways this is a joke. It's just Mike Patton playing the harmonic intro to it which only last's 55 seconds. Utter crap when compared to the version on Angel Dust. They couldn't even give you a live full version at least in length of the soundtrack version???? I started a joke is terrible. Beegees were never that good and this version is just as unlistenable but, ironicly this gives one a hint to this bad single cd. The world is yours is decent and the only redeming factor from just chucking this cd out the window. Sounds like Faith No More from Epic and Angel Dust with more of the moody vocals that mike was so well at and great keyboarding. So, unless you really need every Faith No More song I'd recommend staying away from this unless you find it in a doller bin cause The World is Yours is an alright lost single. . . . .
Another cover
Here as they did for 'Easy' an original from 'Commodores' the copy it's better than the original. 'I started a joke' it's a cover from the original 'Bee Gee's' and only Faith No More could change a crap an stinkin song to a great song. 'The world is yours' it's a great song, it stars with a weird sample then keyboards of Roddy Bottom change it to almost an '2 Unlimited' song and it turns out completly different to a song almost like 'Smaller and Smaller'(of the Angel Dust Album), if you like that you will like this one to.
