Great faith no more album. No patton? But even if Chuck Mosley wouldn't come close to Mike in a million years, he was still awesome. Well sure we all know Mike wasn't in the beginning of Faith no more or in the first two FNM albums. The album is a blend of metal, punk and funk. Songs that definitely belong to Chuck are, Anne's song, and Introduce yourself one of my favorites. You must own it, wether you like Mosley's singing or not, you should still give it up for the rest of the talented band. Besides, how many great singers come close to Patton right? I love the vocals and banging to this great 80's hard rock metal album. No need to rate songs because It's still Faith no more greatness and i assure you, you'll love it even without Mike Patton the god!.
a great cd classic FNM!
at first you'll notice there is no mike patton yes this chuck mossley is not that good but they wrote some very classic tunes crab song,RnR introduce yourself,we care alot and more but while playing these like mike bring them to life, must have fath no more
I wish they would remaster we care alot cd because the song as the worm turn is a esential FNM song heavy as hell!.
Hold the faith
Despite Mosley's continued Pre-Patton vocal offences, one of metal's more interesting groups managed to work wonders around the crooked aesthetic, creating another lastingly intriguing effort in a strange world of 80's goof-hop inflected art-rock, before even taking off for serious refinement.
great cd but i'd personally wish they'd have re recorded this with mike patton.
this cd is possibly the second best cd they did!. this is a great cd the sound was lacking abit but at the time for the money,A+ but I've heard mike patton sing these tunes along with a couple from we care alot cd(as the worm turns) and they are much better.
MOSELYS FNM WAS ON A DIFFERENT PATH.... EXCELLENT!
Trying to make a list of a good time blend of punk mentality and eighties pop and flavorings of grunge. I'm pouring into this breed of late eighties rock and roll. Faith No More have a lot of albums that I can dig, but this one falls perfectly into this category, while also, having its own vision in tact. anyone who tries to say that this album is not worthy, or that Mosey can't sing, have got a few things mixed up -either that, or never actually listened to this album. Mosley may not sing with the voice of angels, but neither did Mike Patton really. . . and where the Mike Patton style is built on much weirder themes, Mosley sings about the world around him, making this, his one major FNM record, stand out.
True it's not the same atmosphere as the Patton fronted Faith No More, but it has it's own vibe, that touches more into the free natured rock and roll that was turning out on the west coast in the late eighties, cool songs that don't try to be too serious, but are still pretty clever. The band rocks out just as well as it would on all FNM releases, but focusing a little more on a funk/metal meets punk/pop thing. . . This album is not as technical as later FNM, it doesn't require as much thought, it's pretty raw, but it's also a party, start to finish. .
