Customer Review
PURR-FECT MUSIC

Never hitting the heights like their contemporaries Jesus Jones or other Happy Valley bands, they left the business frustrated by a lack of success. The long defunct English band is,to my mind, the finest one of the 90s,which is the period of their greatest activity.
They had a highly individual sound, always with the same voice, and a great sense of melodic invention.
The name came from a Strawberry Alarm Clock lyric, information divulged by them to a French interviewer. Its been kept alive by me as my User Name and I have a huge Fan Site on EGroups
"You gotta be a real sour square not to love the nutty noisy happy handsome Family Cat".
