The Start of FFH's Career
But their many fans are very loyal. FFH never exactly took Christian music by storm. The band is best known for their acoustic harmonies and their to the heart lyrics. There is nothing complex about their songs, but they are encouraging.

This CD was their first release and it opens with one of their biggest hits. "One of These Days" is a mid tempo song that dreams of what life will be like in Heaven.

The other big hit from this release is "I Want to be Like You. " This is a much slower ballad that expresses our desire to live like Christ.

For pure fun, there's "Big Fish. " It's got a bouncy melody and very funny lyrics as it draws challenges from the life of Jonah.

A personal favorite that never seemed to take off is disc closer "Power in the Blood. " It's almost a modern hymn as it praises God for what we receive through Jesus' blood. And the tight harmonies on it are so much fun to hear.

Of course, those who complain about the weak lyrics the group can offer also have plenty of ammunition here with such songs as "I'm Alright" and "So is His Love. "

FFH did get stronger as they progressed, so this isn't quite their best material. But it does offer a few good songs that fans will want to own.


Awesome Vocals.
I am not much of a fan of the whole vocal harmony groups but this stands out. This is a great album. It is a great pop album. Standout tracks are "One of These Days" "Take ME As I AM" "Big Fish" "ImAlright" and "So IS His Love. " All the songs are sung to or about God and really lift him up and are very well written.


Awesome!
This is my favorite CD from FFH! I would recommend FFH to anyone who needs an uplifting message in this torn-up world we live in. I bought this CD when I was teaching religion is a private school and I was immediately hooked on them.


Good Faith Group
I have their other CDs. This is a good CD by FFH. I like the inspirational hits one the best, though.


Great debut!
Their lead off single "One of These Days" is not only the best song on this album but also the best song they've released to date. FFH's debut is a pure winner. While I honestly wish the rest of the songs had the edge and more of the tempo that 'One of These Days' has, the album is good in it's own right and is a winner. .
