This album contains a lot of good songs. Fishbone is good group and their sound is really original.


Now Buy Fishbone's Hen House Sessions on DVD
If you rock out to "Still Stuck in Your Throat" (as you must be doing if you're a real Fishbone fan) and you don't have "The Hen House Sessions" on DVD, then get it cuz they record three of the songs from "Still Stuck. . " on it. And it ROCKS! Something else though: I think Dirty Walt is absent from "Still Stuck. . . " but good news!!! He IS with Fishbone on "The Hen House Sessions. " Buy it. Buy it NOW!!.


It Had To Be The Will of God....
Fishbone has NOT, I repeat NOT slowed down. What a great cd. For Nobody. Yeah, the majority of the originals are gone but Angelo and Norwood hold it down, TIGHT! And the brothers who replaced the originals hold it down too. ESPECIALLY ROCKY (Suicidal Tendencies). From beginning to end. And it seems that they will never slow down. Age does not seem to be a factor here. Angelo is still, well Angelo. Antsy, frantic, funky, hard and every other word that describes an atomic bomb. The only thing that Fishbone destroys are those that have come after them that have bent to conformity (here is where you think of the Red Hot Chili Peepers. I spelled it right!). Angelo's stage presence can be frightening to those who have never seen the 'Bone. I have seen them live a few times with the original lie up. Other bands that have come after them have softened. Chili's, No Doubt. And A plethora of others that need to give much respect to them. FISHBONE RULES.

Inspired
Some of the themes are similar to prior Fishbone tunes, but much of it seems more avant-garde to me, almost jazzy. This album seems much more inspired than recent releases.

As a sidenote, I visited the Fishbone website for lyrics, and noticed images from somebody named Chibian. Did a search on Chibian to see some more of his work and was knocked out by it. .


Fishbone are back on track!
5 star album. This latest incarnation of Fishbone is amazing, and this is a great 4. I was blessed to see the band twice in April this year, and they are still the best live band on the planet! Let the shopping mall record buying public think it's the Peppers.
