Not their newest album ever, anymore.... . but definitely still their best! While Five Iron Frenzy kept putting out fantastic music up until they parted ways in 2003, they really reached their peak with this one, their second album. They had some great songs here and there on their later albums, but on this one they never seemed to put a foot wrong. Non-stop catchy riffs combined with lyrics that are witty, insightful, sometimes silly, sometimes thought-provoking, sometimes soul-stirring. . . it's all here in spades. Those new to FIF should definitely start here.
Definitely for ska fans
I was a little nervous when I found out that they were "Christian" ska, but they're not preachy or anything. Some one recommended Five Iron Frenzy if I liked ska, and they weren't wrong. I like their up-beat and fast nature.
More music
He loves it!. Rocking CD of Christian music for my 16 year old son.
Every New Day
When your battery's totally drained with all the crap in this world, this CD has the ability to lift you up. Again, Just for Every New Day, it's worth buying the CD. Highly recommended.

An amazing album by an amazing band
The year was 2000 or so, and my musical taste at the time consisted of Wierd Al and whatever heavy rock I could get my hands on. This album fundamentally redefined how I listen to music. I panned horns and other non-guitar instruments as being boring and passe. I was a little idiot.
And then my friend excitedly sent me an MP3 of a song called Every New Day. I didn't get around to listening to it for a few days, but when I did, I couldn't stop listening. I raced over to Napster and downloaded as much of this band as I could get my hands on. Later I bought this album, along with everything else they produced. Today I listen to music from all different genres, with all sorts of instruments, and it's all Five Iron Frenzy's fault.
THe music is lyrically smart and catchy, and all the players play their parts very well. If I have a complaint, it's that you can't hear Jeff The Girl's sax very much. She blends in too much with the Trombone and Trumpet. I would recommend this album for anyone at all.
