Awesome!Always wanted this CD. . found it and was very excited that it came so quick and was in excellent condition!!! Love it!.
I don't have the album but the song IT MIGHT BE YOU AAA
Something's tellin me it might be you some smooth romantic words I'm going to see Roberta next month in New York I think she might sing this song. Roberta Flack did a HELL!!!! of a job on that 10mintue song I listen to it every single day it never gets me bored when I go to concerts and it takes me forever to get to the venue transportation I listen to this record and makes me put away all my worries. When I heard it on Waiting to exhale movie I loved it wished it was on the soundtrack GET THIS ALBUM listen to this song also listen to "Sweet Geogria Brown".
Thank You Roberta for such a great track,
Brandon .
She lost me on this one!
It sounds like a good idea (an album of remakes of both standards & recent songs), but for some reason it doesn't come off. Roberta Flack is a very talented lady, which makes albums like this one all the more frustrating. The only really good song here which earned one extra star for the album is Stevie Wonder's "Looking For Another Pure Love". Maybe she should do a whole album of Wonder songs or have him produce an album for her. I sincerely think that either one would be great.
I won't trash each song but, for instance, she takes Stephen Bishop's "It Might Be You" & gives it a light funky feel which starts off great, then she goes into a very long spoken section which sounds ridiculous & overly cute to my ears.
Maybe if I heard some of these songs individually, I might have another opinion. I really hate to rag on the talented Ms. Flack, but to my ears this album just didn't do it for me. Believe me, she has plenty of talent & deserves better than this. For those who love this album, I mean no offense!

Ohhh Roberta!!!!!
Went to sleep with it on. I purchased this CD yesterday (10/1/03), and have not stopped playing it. I love it!!! My all time favorite is track 4 - It might be you. And this version is 10 minutes long which I never tire of hearing. I heard this song at the end of the movie "Waiting to Exhale" and have been wanting it ever since. I was all Atlanta, GA but I finally found it and each and every song is a gem.
This CD is beautiful, simply beautiful.
GET IT!!!!!.
Outstanding
Glad I did!!. I was thinking about getting this recording, especially after hearing "It Might Be You" in a movie.
