she does use jelly
this was my first lips album and it is amazing. . . you need to get this "some what" old school lips.

GREAT SONG!
Translucent Egg is pretty cool. A great song with some cool b-sides. Its Jelly with cool guitar sounds instead of lyrics. The blue-grass version of Turn It On was great. The Lips are joined by members of the Butthole Surfers for this take on a already good song. My fave is the simplified version of Plastic Jesus. Just Wayne and an acoustic guitar. A very cool single. NOW BUY IT!.

excellent single for one of the best songs ever made!
buy this single! it is worth it! it has the superb bluegrass version of "turn it on" that is hilarious! plus the experiment with jelly- " translucent egg" (basically the intro of jelly with some added jamming in and out of it, its good!) and an even more acoustic version of "plastic jesus".

I love this song!
God, we need more bands like them and not his Brittney crap going on. This has to be one of there best songs I have heard them play! The song is so simple, yet so damn good.
