Best compilation of the Peter Green Fleetwood Mac years
Turned out to have most of the songs I had bought individually from the 30-second snippets to hear what they sounded like. Bought this after I had purchased individual tracks from iTunes as I was discovering this period of Fleetwood Mac and Peter Green's genius and unsurpassed talent. This then has the best broad coverage. But for the ultimate quality of the period, get Then Play On as well. Truly one of the great works of rock history, and the most important of all Fleetwood Mac issues through their various incarnations.


Exquisite
Both its range and power testify to the songwriting genius of Peter Green and his fellow Mayall alumni. While I think a couple tracks could have been edited from each disc without any appreciable detriment, this collection is overall brilliant.
