Decent live album, not just a rip off of the prior live CD, and great multimedia portion. The departure of Cory and Dom was suprising, but the other musicians stepped in nicely, and I can only expect the solid tunes to keep rolling. I must say I was looking forward to a new studio flickerstick album, but this live one is nice. I'll admit, the live tracks were ok, but not a huge stand out from their other live album, and not as addicting to listen to as their prior albums. But, it good for the collection. The best part of the disc is the multimedia portion that includes 3 videos, which is great to have because they are the classic flickerstick material. check this one out Flickerstick fans.
Live From Atlanta
" It's a much needed addition to any Flickerstick collection!. This is an awesome album! Unlike the live album before it, it is mostly new tracks set in a live environment, with one new studio single, "Helicopter.
Flickerstick live
I'm still trying to find a standout track on this live cut, whereas on prior live albums there are multiple standout tracks. I must admit that I have not taken to this album as much as I have the others after only 1 or 2 listens. I'd also have to say that there are better live versions of the same songs on their prior live album. I'll give this cd many more listens before I decide if it is a keeper or a coaster, but so far I'm not blown away with this album like I have been with almost all of Flickerstick's prior work. The 2 "new" musicians that have joined the band in the absence of Corey and Dom are quite impressive artists. One final note. It is nice to have 3 videos included in this package. Thanks to Flickerstick for going above and beyond what that have to and giving their fans a few added gems.
