Very good
Swagger is my favorite. FAST, a little chaotic, very original, it's a wonderful album, well worth owning.
.
pure awsomness
I'm new to their music and am in love with it. This is one of my new favorite cd's.
A godsend.
Everything. When my son was born, we tried everything to make him stop crying. He had colic for four months, cried 9 hours a day, and the ONLY thing that would put him to sleep, was this CD. Don't ask me why, it's not the calmest music out there, but from the first few picks and drum beats in "Drunken Lullabies", he would stop crying and fall asleep within the first couple songs.
He's now 18 months old, and adjusting to sleeping in a toddler bed, which is really hard. My husband got all sorts of clever yesterday and popped this CD in his CD player, and guess what? Still works like a charm. He's out cold in under 10 minutes.
Great,as Usual!
If you love the Mollies, this album won't dissapoint. . If you don't have any of the Flogger's albums in your collection, this is a great first pick! No Celt can resist dancing or singing along to this album full of craic and good ballads of Irish life and politics and drinking and the lasses. . . I can see the track 'Rebels of the Sacred Heart' becoming a new pub favorite. All of their talents are displayed here. I find it easy to play this album 5 or 6 times in a row and only stop because I have to return to the mundane aspects of life. Go raibh maith agat, Flogging Molly!.
What a great introduction
I think part of the reason for this is the variety- you get your slow songs, faster songs and the pure energy songs. This album served as my introduction to Flogging Molly, and it's one of the few albums that I will listen to without the urge to skip any songs. Album highlights for me include, well, almost every song on the album! I can't help but sing along to most of the songs, and the album has so much energy that it's great for parties or just re-energizing after a long day. Highly recommended. .
