Wonderfully decent
Dan does some wonderfully decent songs with feeling, emotion, musician's
knowledge and skill and some of his blues work is phenomenal. I have always enjoyed Dan Fogelberg's music ---- and this particular album is no different. This is a somewhat rare and hard to find album, so if you can get it, do so. It is a sadness that we lost this musician when he had so much to offer.

Dan Never Did A Bad CD

The man never did a bad release,he is a total professional. This is a 5 star CD and you should buy it.

"DAN FAN FOREVER"
com that I did not own. Since Dan died in December, I have ordered all of Dan's CD's from Amazon. I just received the Live "Something Old, New, Borrowed, And Some Blues" and it's fantastic!! I especially love the Live versions of "Song Bird" and "The Innocent Age". "Here Comes the Sun" which is also great, closes the CD and it is so sad to hear Dan Say "See you next summer" when we all know now that will never happen. This is a must for any music lover. Buy it now!!!.

I Wish it Were a 2 CD set.
This CD shows the vast talent Dan possessed. Dan Fogelberg was truly a gifted musician and singer. He did covers of songs that were not on albums, so it gave the listener, some songs that the title Something, Old, New, Borrowed and Some Blues truly captured. His rendition of Jesse Colin Young's Songbird and George Harrison's Here Comes the Sun were personalized to Dan's music. It really kept me wanting more. It has been a must listen to in my car, for the past three weeks. I am prejudiced because I grew up with Dan's music. His music just helps me believe that love and compassion still exists in this cruel world. He was a voice that would take a young lad in a concrete city, into the mountains, forests and rivers. This is a CD for Fogelberg fans and those who appreciated the LA Rock music of Jackson Browne, Eagles, Poco, Stephen Stills, etc. This Cd is pure instruments and singing, no techno stuff, just the man who loved to entertain an audience, yet still be humbled by his fame.

Magic Every Moment With Every Song.
Way to go Dan! Here Comes the Sun,from George Harrison closes the cd. What can you say about Dan? He's a perfectionist on stage! Magic Every Moment, from The River of Souls opens the cd and is pure magic. Dan could had a hit with this cover!Bravo!! This is not one concert, but concerts that spanned a few years apart. Timothy B. Schmidt from the Eagles is background vocals on a few songs. Dan and Timothy performed You Better Think Twice a song from Poco, when Tim was with the group. Excellent!! Everything else is just pure Fogelberg. Seeing Dan twice in concert and have him not perform many of these songs, was a true delight to hear them performed live. Not being a fan of live recordings of concerts, this did not disappoint. .
