Great for those looking for more then the hits.
The hits, like "Baby I Need Your Loving," and "(Sugar Pie Honey Bunch) I Can't Help Myself" are rushed through, or crammed into medleys, but it's not these songs that are the focus of the album. It's true that this album was rushed out to promote the post-motown Four Tops singles. The performances of "Ain't No Woman Like The One I Got," "Keeper of the Castle," and "I Am Your Man" are AMAZING. The band is good, and Levi is absolutely stunning, especially when he starts to rip on "I Am Your Man. " It's also cool to hear them be much more casual on that same song, not holding back with the crowd (in respect to language or innuendo) like the have to do on the more recent live things (the 40th and 50th Anniversary DVDs, for example). Although the subject matter is questionable, "Midnight Flower" sounds great too, with the rhythm section really tight. If you're willing to hear some great performances of the lesser known songs, with the Tops in a much more casual and raw setting, this is where it's at. And again - if you get this album for nothing else, get it to hear Levi really SING.

Although this is still a great album, be warned - the CD version of this has left off one track, "Love Ain't Easy To Come By. ".

Inferior album
This was recorded and released to try to get the public buying them again. This album was rush created because the Four Tops' ABC singles were falling off the charts. Get the 1966 Four Tops Live! album instead(especially in stereo)-it's a much better album. No way does this 1974 album measure up.

ALL
THEY ARE SINGERS, NOT PREFORMERS, AND THEY HAVE MORE THEN PROVED IT. EITHER LIVE OR IN THE STUDIO THE FOUR TOPS CAN DO NO WRONG. ASK MOTOWN, ASKS THE WORLD, ASK THEIR VOICES, AND ASK THE LOVE, THEY HAVE GAVE AND SHOWN THE WORLD. "WE LOVE YA" AS LEVI WOULD SAY.
