DEFINITELY FOR COLLECTORS
However, they are the original Four Tops, recorded before Lawrence Payton died. These are not the original recordings. This makes it a fascinating addition for completists, to hear the original group in later years. The backing band, while not the Funk Brothers, is sharp. And Levi Stubbs' voice, while older, is still strong and passionate, still singing the classics in their original key.
Newer fans are encouraged to go back to the Motown recordings, but anyone who loved and followed the Tops through their incredibly lengthy career, might want to add this to their collection.


Forgotten Love Song
One of greatest love songs ever written, in my opinion was sang by the Four Tops. The Four Tops has been one of my favorite groups since the beginning. The album was Catfish, and the song was Love Don't Come Easy. I have waited a life time to hear that song in a movie sound track. My best friend has the only album copy (from San Antonio to Virginia) that I could find. Please help me to find this great song and revive it by adding it the the Four Tops Greatest Love songs or Greatest Hits list.
