A Must have for Frampton fans! This is Frampton at his best. . if your a Frampton fan, then this CD is a Must! Although I think that the arrangement of the songs and the order they were placed on the CD are somewhat different, all in all. . . . . excellent!! Get this one!.
More info
I hope to hear it some day. There is another piece that is not on the cd called "Bert's Boogie" with Bill Wyman and Charlie Watts.
Unexpected...
. great rock-jazzy , sometimes bluesy, contemporary guitar project from true musician and his companions. Get a beer, a cigarette (or not if you are non-smoker) and listen. . . . .
Does come alive
Excellent 5 star baby- tasteful guitar work- In historical reference,. . nothing here to beat the impact of first hearing "Do You Feel Like I Do" on the radio ( the obligitory comparison)but out of that whole double album, how much did you really just love? Most of us still around and alive have probably mellowed a bit and speaking for myself,. . . I like something that soothes the poor head now rather than banging the gong at full stimulation for an hour,. . if ya know what I mean-So it is in that vein that I highly recommend this one-Every track is a winner in my humble opinion-Thank you Mr. Frampton .
Thank you Peter
The magic was there and it reminded me of just how many great tunes he'd created. After a long hiatus from listening to Frampton (like decades), I saw him in concert a couple months ago. He's truly a masterful guitarist. Anyway, it prompted me to update my old vinyl with some CDs and that's when I came across Fingerprints. I am completely blown away by it and I literally get the chills from some of the music. Its that good! Definitely some of the best music I've heard in years and possibly his best work to date. The range of styles and melodies on this album is amazing and really showcases his talent. Buy it! Enjoy! Its something you can listen to over and over. Thanks for bringing more musical joy into my life Peter.
