"My girlfriend asked me which one I like better..."". . I hope the answer won't upset her--it's a SIX PACK!"
This CD is worth the price just to have the Black Flag cover. It's rare that a band cover a Black Flag song, just because no one even remebers who they are. Being a skater punk from the mid-80's, though, I remeber, and so do a lot of other old farts like me. Too much guitar, lyrics spoken like a stoned, meaningless poem, and catchy, short, rhythmic riffs. . . I can't say enough about this band. Co-produced by QOTSA's Josh Homme, it's no wonder the best music in the world is being recorded in Southern California. Nebula, Fu Manchu, QOTSA, Eagles of Death Metal, Desert Sessions, Masters of Reality, Mondo Generator, Lanegan, Catchings, Goss, . . . they're all friends and they all help each other put together the most amazing rock songs of this new millenium.
This CD sounds exactly like you think it sounds, so get it. .
The Best Fu Manchu songs i've ever heard
Very Recommendable.
The First two songs are really great, and i'm not a big fu manchu fan but these songs are great and the Black Flag cover is also cool.
