lovin' loose(r) nelly if you went to her concert, you can relive it here--if you didn't get a chance to go, you can have a taste of what it's like. This is a great CD to have, an awesome stocking stuffer for any nelly fan out there.
Experience Nelly in her element, without the music directors controlling her every note. If you didn't know, music directors expecially in the pop industry, have the artist sing in a certain way (mostly in a controlled voice) so the album will have more broad-based appeal (therefore selling more albums. )
In comparison with Loose, this is much more "loose" vocally--we experience nelly's own improvisations and additions to the songs.
Though this is not a completely raw album as I have heard Nelly sing completely unhindered by any of her director's wishes elsewhere, it is a nice compromise between the controlled Loose CD production and her singing completely as she pleases.
Particularly good numbers are "Glow" in which she samples Blondie's "Heart of Glass" and "I'm like a Bird" with a modern music arrangement. Truly good stuff and the closest thing to the concert!
