Customer Reviews
Great single, worthy buy for fans
This one features the B-side "Trip My Wire", as well as the album version of "Queer" and two remixes. One of Garbage's best singles, "Queer", is given the remix treatment on not one but two CD singles. "Trip My Wire" is quite good, with lots of the electronic influences present on the band's 1998 album "Version 2. 0". The remixes, thankfully, are actually quite interesting, rather than just the mindless techno ramblings that remixes usually consist of. Both "The Very Queer Dub Bin" and "The Most Beautiful Girl In Town" mixes offer up a different view of an already great song. Overall, a must-have for serious fans, and definitely worth a look for casual listeners.

A great single all around
An amazing one at that, "Trip My Wire" is one of the best songs Garbage has ever recorded, and it's a shame it's status as a B-side hasn't garnered it more recognition, which it definitely deserves. The number one reason you're looking into purchasing this single is most likely because of the B-side it contains.

"Trip My Wire" is a very heavy, complicated and unbalanced song, and that's what makes it so great. Shirley vocals differ radically from beginning to end, going from dominant to hysterical in a matter of minutes. This is an amazing sample of what Garbage is capable of, and you should best snatch it up before it's not so readily available for your listening pleasure.

The first remix of Queer (The Very Queer Dub-Bin Version) is very good. It has a lot in common with the original, but it's different enough to stand out on it's own. The second (The Most Beautiful Woman in Town Mix), on the other hand, is almost completely different and puts a whole new spin on the original song. A great remix as well.

All in all, this single contains one amazing B-side, and two great remixes. What more could you possibly ask for? If you consider yourself a serious Garbage fan, it would be a sure bet to add this to your collection, of which it would most likely become the jewel of.

It Rocks!
I am collecting all of Garbage's B-side tracks at the moment, and I am so glad that I bought this one. What to say about the best band in the world, Garbage. Shirley amazes me all the time with her sassy, vixen-like approach to vocals on "Queer", and the song "Trip My Wire" is just fantastic. Amust have addition to a collection of any Garbage fan, because the remixes are great too. Buy Buy Buy!.
