"All I Know" is that this album contains great music Like many reviewers, I first purchased this on vinyl and loved every minute of it. I'm surprised no one's used my corny title for a review. Of course, the crowning glory of this CD is the masterpiece "All I Know. " It's just that beautiful and unmistakable piano intro that always gets to me. Absolutely one of the most beautiful openings to a Pop ballad ever. The piano and lush string arrangements lend themselves to the marvelous and haunting voice of Art Garfunkel. So yes, I'm going to say it - If for nothing else, "All I Know" in itself, is worth the purchase of this great CD. But please give a listen to the rest of the selections. You'll enjoy them, too. .
Listen to Garfunkel
Now to hear him again is so special. I realize that Art Garfunkel recorded this album years ago and I once has it on 33 1/3, but I got rid of all my old favorite albums. I enjoy listening to his soft voice on Angel Clare.
beautiful voice and eclectic music
When Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel parted ways after the masterpiece A BRIDIGE OVER TROUBLED WATER, everyone knew Paul Simon would continue his successful singing and songwriting career. I bought this record when it was first released and it still is an outstanding record. Art Garfunkel was experienting with acting and after awhile he must have thought I will try to make a record without my old friend. The result showcases Garfunkel's angelic voice and a list of diverse songs from Randy Newman to Jimmy Webb to Van Morrison to traditional folk and even country. It all adds up to a very satisfying record. I stiil don't know why it is titled ANGEL CLARE, but it doesn't really matter. .
Angel Clare Revisited
Much to my surprise, I am re-discovering and enjoying the folky harmonies of Art Garfunkel all over again. I owned 'Angel Clare' on a record (large, round slab of vinyl with a hole in the centre)years ago and decided to revisit it.

The Best by the Best
Worth it alone for "Traveling Boy","All I Know", and "Another Lullaby", with everything else a bonus. One of Art's best albums. A pure voice performs an almost perfect album of music.
