Master Great o have most of his songs dating back when!!!!!!!!!!!. Opened for Marvin once in my past.
THE MASTER IS TRULY MASTERFUL
A MAN WHO, YOU COULD HEAR ALL THE PASSION BURNING UP IN HIS SOUL WHEN HE SANG. WHAT CAN I SAY ABOUT A COLLECTION SONGS FROM ONE OF THE GREATEST SOUL AND R&B ARTISTS EVER. THIS COLLECTION IS THE MOST COMPLETE I HAVE EVER SEEN FOR MARVIN GAYE. AFTER BUYING THIS ONE YOU NEED NOT LOOK ANY FURTHER.
Mono Warning!
Wish I had read the fine print before buying. Great singer, great selections, great recordings BUT many of the old songs are mono recordings. . . .
Ego Trippin Out...
I still enjoy listening to it after more than ten years. This is such a great box set that within 4 discs generously samples chronologically each of Mavin Gayes albums with a few extras thrown in as well. Such a loss to not have Mr. Gaye with us anymore.
Monaural 'Master' is a waste of time!
3 of the 4 CD's are mono. I'll be brief. They are the first 3 which have the best songs on them. Motown named Marvin Gaye the Master here, then proceeded to diss him with this inferior mono mix job. Shame on Motown. Mono is for people with one ear. .
