Customer Review Only for vintage Motown collectors It is incredibly rare to find a faithful reissue of any vintage Motown album. I recently purchased this reissue of "Marvin Gaye and His Girls" on CD. This was originally released in 1969. If you look closely in the bottom left corner of the photo, you will see a cut-out mark (the kind they used to put into discounted record albums). I'm surprised that this particular album saw a re-release. There are only two well known hits here. The rest are space fillers. The "girls" are Mary Wells, Kim Weston, and Tammi Terrell. If you collect old Motown albums as I do, the price is low enough that it's worth a few bucks to add it to your collection. . .
