i will survive......beautiful to hear I LOVE THIS ONE SONG. . . . I WILL SURVIVE. . . . BUT ALL OF HER MUSIC IS SO BEAUTIFUL. . . HOW YOU HANDLE NOT LISTENING TO HER WOULD ONLY BE THOSE THAT CANNOT HEAR. . . AND GOD BLESS THEM. Excellent compilation This CD compilation is an excellent introduction to her music. Gloria Gaynor released some great albums in the mid-to-late 1970s on the MGM and Polydor labels. The version of "I Will Survive" included here is shortened and remixed from the original release. It's a great update of a classic song. The songs do not match the listing according to Amazon. com. The program is as follows: "I Will Survive" (shortented remix) "(Let Me Know) I Have a Right" "As Time Goes By" "Can't Fight the Feeling" "Never Can Say Goodbye" "Goin' Out Of My Head" "Anybody Wanna Party" "The Luckiest Girl In the World" "Casanova Brown" "So Much Love" Gaynor was renowned for releasing the first album ("Never Can Say Goodbye", MGM, 1975) that ran the songs continuously and was crowned "Queen of Disco. " Her music pretty much followed the disco beat save the occasional ballad. I wish her early albums were available on CD, they were a lot of fun to listen to. . Quite good I bought it for "I will survive" and . . I like just that. Anyway, the sound quality is good. The Best of Gloria Gaynor I can not tell you very much about the product only the experience ordering and receiving it. This item was purchased as a gift. Original order got lost. Replacement order exceeded my expectations with the immediate satisfaction of both handling that issue and replacing it in time to enable me to give it as a present in time. expand your horizons! h. i just wanna say to the reviewer addar,yes,i will survive is a great smash hit & all that,but how in the world may you not say the same thing or even moreso about the most pumpin' smashin' hit of all,anybody wanna party?that gets everybody up dancing the night away,plus they should of put more gloria gaynor hits on here if it's gonna be her best,her best indeed!thank you,j. 52757.
