Customer Reviews To each his own So if there are no vocals (no songs) then it's no good. Some people cannot conceive an orchestral soundtrack: a movie SCORE. They call it "background" music. Well, it's their loss that they don't know how to really listen. But to dare give a good CD a bad review, well, that's kind of an unjust tragedy. After all, isn't a soundtrack suppose to give you the nostalgic feeling of the movie without having to watch it? So, to those people who can only conceive a movie with "songs" I would recommend to buy a Steve Tyrell's CD [ASIN:B00001QEOK A New Standard]] it has all (great) songs and includes the ones from the "Bride" movies. Meanwhile, let us, "symphonic weirdos", enjoy beautiful brackground music tracks. Cheers!. Father of the Bride Alan Silvestri's music is joyful. I love this CD. Product and delivery were great. Has the Makings of a Classic As it stands, it is a very good, (short) companion to a book and a cup of coffee, or perhaps an evening drive. If this score were a bit deeper, and around 25 minutes longer, it would be a classic in it's genre. Some of the songs are jazzy and smooth, others are up tempo and remind one strongly of a Christophe Beck or John Debney score. I definately reccomend giving this a listen, (if only it were longer. . . ). .
