need more of America's musical theatre history
I learn so much about "us" when these are available for purchase. It is hard to find copies of the musical theatre productions of America's past.


Great Product and easy transaction
We purchased this CD as my daughter is in a production of I'm Crazy for You. If you like show tunes -- this CD is perfect. CD is great as it not only has all the songs but it includes some of the dialogue from the play. I've been subjected to hearing this CD every morning and every evening for the last month and it is still entertaining. GREAT SCORE!.


A Gershwin Extravaganza
I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys musicals, especially those by Gershwin who were adapted to create this hilarious and clever play. I purchased this after joining a community theater production of Crazy For You. It is a good quality recording with talented performers, tap sounds are clear and not overwhelming to the song, check it out!

I Guess I'm not a Gershwin Fan
The music isn't housebreakingly beautiful, the lyrics aren't super witty, and the singers don't melt my ears. It's not that Crazy for You is bad, in fact the music is quite decent, the singers are good, the lyrics are OK, but as a CD its just not one I want to put in and listen to. . . so I just don't think this is a CD people must have. There's a lot of dancing in this show, and a lot of Gershwin instrumental music. . . if you like that, then you will like this CD. If, however, you are like me and need more than tap numbers and cheesy love songs pass on this one. Favorite song: "They Can't Take that Away from Me".


Perfect
This is unavailable in any shop and Amazon made it so easy to get. Exactly what I was looking for and at the right price. Unfortunately I opted for the Express delivery on this Item which was a very big mistake. UPS are responsible for the Express delivery and after paying three times the price of the actual disk, UPS failed to deliver on time and I had to go and collect from their Depot.
Great Job as usual Amazon but I think you need to reconsider who you trust with your delivery - I for one will think twice about buying from Amazon again, I have no confidence in delivery anymore.
