What a voice! I've always liked him but never really had the chance to just be still and listen to his voice. I bought this as a gift for a family member and as we listened to it together, I realized what a truly talented singer Vince is. It's so smooth and unmistakable. Each song on this cd is a hit and really portrays how talented Vince is as he goes from the slow love ballads to the up tempo fun songs. It's a great cd.
Not the kind of Country I like
This bluesy song
called "If You Ever Have Forever In Mind" seemed the "utmost" to me
with a Ray Charles touch. I bought this CD for one song I heard and saw Vince Gill interprete
on the fantastic Grand Ole Opry at Carnegie Hall DVD. For that reason I wanted a CD where this song
was on. However the rest of the songs are like most country songs since
the early 90's: it ain't country, it's POP except for another two fine
songs and that's the reason why I finally give it 3 stars. .
