Essential items for Glassjaw fans The great thing about this single is you get Glassjaw live tracks. While Glassjaw only has a few import singles floating around out there (three to be exact), all are worth owning, hence the significance of the second single for the album Worship and Tribute, entitled "Ape Dos Mil". While I do agree that it is far from capturing the intensity of a Glassjaw live show, this is about as close to the real thing as you're gonna get (at least right now while the band is on hiatus). The live tracks are "Must've Run All Day" and "Mu Empire", both which are great songs in their own right. The live production is actually very good on the release, and obviously professionally done. Of course along with the two live tracks you get the single "Ape Dos Mil", which is a wonderful song itself, and its video. These things are getting harder and harder to find now adays, so I would recommend grabbing a copy before they're completely gone. It's worth the money, especially if you're a die hard Glassjaw fan.
Worth the $ for fans...
The live songs are, to be honest, only fair. This single for Ape Dos Mil is worth the money simply for the enhanced video. they do not capture the intensity of their live set. I personally do not buy singles unless they have good B-sides (I was hoping the would release their cover of Quicksand's "Dine Alone". . . ) but this is an exception because of the high regard i hold for this band. A must for fans, but their Cosmo single was much better. . .
Overall - 4. 5 stars.
